I am very sad to hear this news, I enjoy her so much. But even sadder that she and her beloved are going through so much. I'll keep them both in my prayers.

aw, naes....what a nice thing to say. I used to watch Lisa a lot before I did most of my shopping online. She is a dear person . Her and Gino seem so suited to each other and together they share a love for God. I am so glad that they do and that, one day, if Gino loses his battle with cancer, he will gain an eternity and the two of them will be together forevermore.

Have you ever heard that song, Naes....God On The Mountain? I thought of that song this morning when praying for Gino and Lisa. I love the way Lynda Randle does it. It's on you tube.

~~~ This is for Gino and Lisa. My prayers are with both of them as they deal with this difficult journey. I am sorry Lisa has decided not to return to QVC at this time but I fully understand and support her decision.

They are really a love story. I will miss Lisa; she wasn't about vanity nor was she shallow but her inner beauty really shined through. I figured Gino was sick again when she left and she is where she must be. I hope their journey is a peaceful one and their faith comforts them.

Very sad to hear this news. You can tell that Lisa's strong faith in God is helping her deal with this.

It was mentioned upthread about Lisa's own health challenges and I'm wondering if it's the assumption she has lupus. I've read that she herself said it was one of those 'urban legends' (not her words) and she didn't know where it was started, how or why.

I've never heard her mention it on air whenever I watched her hosting.

Since she has shared her DH's journed with his (2X diagnosis) illnesses, treatment protocals, and other uphill and downhill battles, has she ever mentioned anything about having lupus on her facebook pages?

I ask because I would think she would be open about her own health challenges, possible treatments or medications and anything else that could help her many fb followers who may suffer or know someone who has this disease.

My prayers to you dear Lisa and Gino. May God be with you both.

I guess some things you keep private and if she spoke about any maladies it would be taken as medical advice by some and against QVC policy. I think when she posts about Gino it is more about love and a spiritual journey not meant to give medical advice or help. Posting and the kind messages/prayers from her fans probably helps her emotionally as caring for a person with a serious illness can be lonely and you feel

isolatied because that is what live becomes....just being with one person, the ups, downs, treatments.... The role of caretaker is very very difficult. I hope she cares for herself as well.

Oh I absolutely understand about not giving any kind of medical info to be taken as 'gospel' on the net.

I was just asking if anyone ever heard her mention on air or on facebook if she has lupus.

It just gets repeated here on almost every LM thread, but no one has ever seen or heard her actually say it.

All I can say is anyone walking the journey she is on needs good thoughts and prayers sent up. I feel terrible for her, for her family, and for Gino. Immunotherapy is a new way to treat cancer. It is very promising, but very new. Works for some, not for others. I just watched a special on this new treatment. It is very interesting and may be the way they treat in the future, but I believe it just came out of clinical trials. I pray that this works for Gino. What a love story they are, and I understand she can't leave him right now. Painful time for her, and him!

I think the world of you, Jubilant...just your name makes me smile. God on the mountain, yes, I love that so much.

For two people, so much IN love, being so devoted to each other, sharing each with God's love and his teaching, then for this to be the end sadness, only while on this old earth~~ but not for be to judge. " You, Jubilant, is the one special person that God has put in this world, as a teacher, to listen to, to learn from ~your own experiences: I include dooBdoo, also as one of the special chosen children of God to be here. I am notoriously known for not giving out many accolades, but there are some, not as many as I've read or know through instinct- to be so close to God, for whatever reason, but there is a reason.

I choose to stay with everyone as long as each shows kindness and not bitterness, as in hatred behavior.

As with you, I miss my saintly parents, our apple & peach orchard. I am the epitome of that girl/woman who would never appear to be saying anything remotely close to this...it's just another path that God has chosen for me to be called to """"TRY"""" be the child He is expecting to learn quite quickly. In my early days, I shunned God for many months due to mt mother's illness, but God never left me, only to teach me...this is a learning task that, -you- NAES/B WILL go through because I, your Lord do have something later, that is going to ``bless you with`` and that blessing will provide a way to help others, so the rest of my history is just that. Peace, a Godly husband, a rich filled life. A beautiful, successful child. We all go through unbelievable trials and tribulations. That is how I perceive the strength of that couple, Lisa & her beloved best friend, her marriage before God, to know what is there for each, after this trial, as I call a journey here on a place called earth. She knows of those words, God on the mountain. Thank you for being there/here for many whom are so endeared to have you 'YOU' as their friend. Only love and admiration do I have for you~
