Re: Lisa Marie Memorial Service

What is confusing to me is that she was obviously not "right" at the golden Globes Award show....yet no one seemed to do anything about it? Even if Lisa Marie Resisted help or some kind of ntervention from her Mother or family....the family could have taken  legal steps to get her to a hospital due to her unwell condition and have gotten a legal way to get her help even if she resisted.

I think her death will be from overdose and abuse of drugs....but even if it was "just a heart attack" ( which I doubt)  they could have helped her the two days prior to her death in the hospital and possibly saved her life.

@SeaMaiden

Attending public events raises anxiety in many people; I would expect quite a few people in attendance that night to have self medicated with whatever they rely on for help to get thru it, Ativan, Valium, alcohol, other substances I have no knowledge about, etc.

One look at Lisa Marie that night made me think she had strongly self medicated, in order to be there in support of Austin Butler and meet the expectations as Elvis' daughter.  Some of us have strong coping skills; others not so much.

Re: Lisa Marie Memorial Service

Does anyone know how Sarah Ferguson got to be close friends with Lisa Marie?

@ValuSkr  According to Daily Mail.com, they became close friends "in 2009 after the pair met for the first time in the US".

My favorite group.  J.D. and the Stamps had a Live Concert here after Elvis died. Seems like it was months after Elvis died. I enjoyed every minute of it and bought a little remembrance merchandise.

What a backup group for Elvis, and also "that little lady with the high voice", as Elvis called her. Kathy Westmoreland!

I was there. It was in Oklahoma City and everyone in the group signed it.

Did you ever listened to the song with Lisa Marie and Elvis Duet? Great listening for sure.

"Where No One Stands Alone".

Just now watched and listened to it on Utube through my surround sound system. Gave me the chills!

If you got Utube it's worth a listen, especially today!
