I was using L'Occitane Ultra Riche Hand and Body Wash for years. It has kept my dry hands soft, and even made my brown spots disappear. They recently changed the formula. I do not think it is nearly as effective. Anyway, I am looking for a new hand soap for really dry hands. Any suggestions?     Thanks in advance

@Janey2  I have totally changed over to Beekman goat milk soaps and lotions.

They work well for me, great products!

I really like Bath and Body Works liquid foaming soap.

And then I follow that with Glysomed hand cream during the day and L'Occitane Intensive Hand Balm before I go to bed.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@Janey2   I agree about L'Occitane-I used to use their hand soap but it is not the same.

I found A La Maison de Provence liquid soap which can be used for hands and body.

It is French milled and made with vegetable oil, argan oil, and olive oil, Vitamin E. and some with coconut oil.

It is palm oil free.  No parabens, phthalates, SLS.  Cruelty free.  Lathers nicely.  Imported from France.

Also comes in refill size.  I've been using the Lavender Aloe scent and the Rosemary Mint and Rose Lilac are also nice.

I don't think you can order from their website but I know Whole Foods carries it and of course there is always Amazon.

I use any brand antibacterial hand soap, and follow up with a good hand cream.  Currently using Kroger antibacterial soap, and Korres Pure Greek Olive peach blossom hand cream.

With the extra hand washing I have been surprised that the Bath & Body soaps have not dried out my hands.   But come to think of it, I think I will take that large bottle of Grace body wash and fill a few hand soap bottles.  I am so tired of that big bottle!

I use Swanson's hand soap, a huge 17 oz bottle that is all natural, no chemicals in there at all, and no sulfates. And under $3, whenever I place an order for supplements I order an extra hand soap. Nice smell, rosemary and lavender.

Michel Design Works Foaming Hand Soap.  I bought it on a whim once through one of the morning news shows daily deals things and ended up liking it.  The bottles are really pretty too.  That said, I’ve used Beekman and BBW too and find them fine for the purpose.  I’ve also purchased Mrs. Myers and am just so-so on that one.  I wish the packaging was prettier for something that sits on the counter.  I wasn’t crazy about the scent I had either.  Maybe another would be better.

To "Cakers"--I also am using the La Maison liquid had soap--I have it in the sweet almond scent--I found it the other day along with the other scents @tjmax--it was $4.99 16.4oz--when I go back I will def be picking up more of this--I really like it because it has olive & argon oils--smells beautiful--leaves my hands soft---marynj
