She could really belt out a song.  Blue Beyou by was great by her.

Anyone or any song you'd like to hear that you haven't for awhile?

Great great voice.  She could sing anything.  Blue Bayou was my favorite also.

I heard she doesn't sing anymore because of illness.

@LilacTree  Bayou, thank you, nothing looked right when I typed it!  Yes, I heard she doesn't sing anymore, and I miss hearing her songs. At least once in awhile, you'd think I could catch it.

I love the duet she did with Aaron Neville, " I don't know much ".

I have two of her CDs, one her Greatest Hits, and the one where she sang all 40s songs with a Big Band.  I think she did two of those.  Wonderful, pure voice on a par with Karen Carpenter, although different styles.

How about "Baby, Baby," another great one.

@LTT1, Hi, fine here and hope you are the same.

Yes, LR just came to me for some reason, she sang so great. I'm glad it brought up some good memories for today for you. Thanks for sharing all the places someone can click on to, to hear some of the music. Have a great day!

Did anyone see the story behind "The Eagles?" I believe it was this show that told of Linda Ronstadt getting talented newbies together. This was when Jackson Browne, Glen Frey -- a few of the greats were writing songs together and were not really "a thing" yet.

She is so talented.
