She posted last on Oct 22 that she might not post on QVC's forums again.

She was the OP of a new thread and it became very heated and some unkind words were said. The whole post was poofed. Liliac Tree was upset and her feelings were hurt. I did not read her original post, so I I don't know what was said, but a few posters were unkind when she apologised about the thread to the moderator and again unkind comments were said and had to be deleted from that posting.

I miss her too and wish she would reconsider. I enjoyed her posts.

I am so glad this question was asked. I, too, have really enjoyed LilacTree's

posts. I read also that she had posted something which had caused some

pretty nasty responses. She did post that she would not be posting again

(or at least taking a break).

I enjoyed her viewpoint and whatever she shared. I hope she is still reading

these forums and will come back. I'm sure many of us miss her.

Lilac Tree has been a very busy poster for a long time. I remember so many of her threads and posts when she was Ford1234. One thing people need to do when they decide to participate on forums is to develop a thick skin. I hope she is okay and will come back soon.

I hope that Lilac Tree returns. I do feel very badly that she was so hurt. Maybe the solution is not for everyone to toughen up, but rather for some people to grow up. Bashing just isn't nice. We are all better than that.

I also miss Lilactree, I really enjoyed reading her posts. I'm hoping she will return soon. It is sad to see that some posters seem to feel the need to be rude, nasty, and hateful on these boards.

I too miss her. Ford getting attacked goes all the way back to the old boards. I honestly do not know why? I enjoy her posts. She is a very nice lady. She is very friendly.

She posts good topics. I learned about DeltaDental1 (and there are other companies) that offer extra dental payment help beyond what ordinary insurance covers. I scrambled to find that thread before the new boards morphed because there was so much info on that thread I did not want to lose!

She is a very strong woman, facing health issues, and other "life" problems and I feel like this board offered her virtual friendship. But there were some posters that just went after her no matter what she wrote. I never understand the need for people to do that to a person they do not know? Move on if something in a thread bugs you. Don't keep on reading. No need to put anyone down and make them feel bad.

I hope she comes back. When these new boards showed up, I lost her for a while and actually put effort into finding her because she is a long time poster and I like her.

I know one can only take having feelings hurt for so long before it is necessary to take care of oneself and just stop posting. I can only shout out to her that she does have friends here, and she is missed.

Naysayers and attackers are everywhere. Block them, ignore them, none of their words can hurt you unless you let them. Easier said than done, I know, but the internet is what it is. Nasty people will always find a way to hurt. BUT, it says more about the nasty people than it does about the poster. It is hard to keep separate when you are the one getting bashed, but I always try to have people's back when I see unnecessary bullying going on.

I hope you take whatever break you need Ford, but come back soon! You are missed, and the fact that people noticed you gone should assure you that there are more kind people here than nasty ones.

@RetRN - I agree. I can never understand why some people get snarky and rude against someone else. Everyone has the right to say what they want whether you agree or not. The moderators have been doing a good job of keeping threads from going bad. I just don't know where their attitudes come from.
