Like, Own, Want

Was just checking ebay for some bids I have going, and have noticed the past few days (been off line a while) and there's a "like, own, want" there.I'm always soooo afraid to click on something, KNOWING I'll never get stuff back or be the same again as long as I live,,,it scares me! Can you give me any idea what it means and what good is it??? This could be the thing I'd asked for a week or so ago,,,,,,,I know there is a search bar,,,,,but I wanted to know if I could put in a request for an item that isn't listed. Sellers can't possibly list allllll they have, right? Again I'm here asking you pros. Can anyone give me any info? TIA
