Yes it is heat lightning .Sometimes it will lightning if it snows very heavy.

@Allegheny  Another cable company is going in our City. The contractors hit a major electrical cable and miles of homes were without power this morning. When I returned, I couldn't get any of the garage doors to open! We've never had a power failure in this home/neighborhood in 30 years. But on a 95 degree day, it happened. Wonder if that's why the time is off when I post? Although the clock on my PC is accurate. IDK! Not a biggie in the scope of things. Thanks, anyway!

 We often have heat lightening.
