Thanks. I just did a search and sure enough, I had started a thread awhile back because a couple of my cards were hacked and I guess a couple of my boys have it and I wanted more information.
Thanks tansy - I never would have thought of looking for it. It came up immediately. I will start reading the replies and maybe learn some more about it.
How quickly I forget......

That's not what I was asking. I want to hear from someone who actually has it and want to know what it has done for them.
TIA again....
Then you can just Google "user reviews LifeLock"; it's so much quicker and easier than starting a thread, IMHO.
You can do that with just about anything, and you don't have to wait for replies at the Q.

Ay yi yi - I thought this was about those food containers.
To stay on topic - my understanding is that Life Lock really doesn't do anything beyond what you can do for yourself.

Have it on both of us...and has saved us from someone stealing our identity. It works!

And you would have won too because I still don't remember even starting that.....
The only reason I started it tonight was because my husband was out walking the dog and met a friend/neighbor, whose wife's identity was stolen. They got her name, SS# and b/d and started opening accounts at department stores, etc....
I don't get why they can't "freeze" her bank acct. Oh, maybe because it's in both their names?? I don't remember what he told me - it was so convoluted and the neighbor said his wife is paranoid - afraid of using a card anywhere, etc... She said she recently gave someone (over the phone) her bank account number and now she's hysterical because she said she didn't make the call and nobody is supposed to ask for that information.
Identity theft is getting worse every day. I'm glad at least, I got my cards cancelled and accounts closed and none of my cards are being used. (at least for now.....
) Scary........
