It's that time of year.

There's a family, fairly close to our house, that grows tomatoes and corn. We've been a few times. Last week we bought some Silver Queen corn- just a few ears. It was delicious.

We went back on Tuesday. He said he didn't have anymore Silver Queen- the rest of the crop hadn't come in yet, but he had some Peaches and Cream corn and did we want that. So we bought a dozen. We came home and I made two ears and it's the most delicious corn I've ever eaten. It's a yellow and white ear. I think there is more than one variety of yellow/white, but I'm not totally sure. We flast froze (the residential version of flazh freezing anyway) the other 10 ears. When we bought it, he said he was just about out.

We stopped yesterday and a local vegetable/fruit business. Like a local farmer's market thing. I was thrilled to see more Peaches and Cream corn. We bought another 12 ears and froze them this morning.

What's your favorite corn?

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
