Congrats to the Kings and their fans. They are a fantastic team.
Kings, take care of the Cup, please. Next year, it will be the NY Rangers turn.

Will start with this:
Now that you know this part I join you in saying congratulations to the LA Kings. I've said on the Sports Forum since the early rounds of the post season play that I felt the Kings were by far the best team in the post season. I also said that the best team is not always the one wins.
Better hockey could not been seen than was seen in this Stanley Cup Finals Series. One will never see 2 better at their trade that Jonathan Quick the LA Goaltender and Henrik Lundqvist the New York Rangers Goaltender. Even those that are not hockey fans that watched any of these games could probably see how great this men are at what they do for a living.
For me it is a shame that it lasted only 5 short games in lieu of seeing 2 great teams play the maximum number(7)of games to determine a winner. Anyone that watched all 5 complete games and understands ice hockey knows that either team could have won any of these 5 games. A bounce here a bounce there are the outcome could have been reversed. But, that is the game of hockey and it has always been that way and probably always will be.
Congratulations to all the Kings players/coaching staff/trainers and equipment managers. Every one of them are part of the reason this team is celebrating being the best hockey team in the world right now and there is no disputing this from this hockey fan.
My guys gave it everything they had and what else can one ask? They came up on the losing end and knowing hockey players as I do, this will not be something they will forget any time soon. While they are disappointed and feel bad for all of their teammates and themselves? They will soon know that many NHL players that are in the Hockey Hall of Fame have never won the Stanley Cup and some of them never made it to the Finals of the Series. For that they will and should be proud.
Thanks to both teams for some great hockey games. I am sorry to see it end because nothing I like better than watching good hockey games and that they gave everyone that watched.
