I don't care if my comment is taken the wrong way or not. As stated above, if the title of this thread had the name of the family in it, I would have skipped it also.

Do you know what hypocrisy is?  It is condemning this family, making hateful, untrue comments, slandering them, yet stating you don't hate them.  Yet, when Christians speak out against homosexuality, stating it is wrong, and admit they do not "hate" them, you call them homophobes, and worse and don't accept it.    We are all sinners, saved by grace.  This family has been crucified in the media and those who think they're so superior to them, better check again by using God's measuring stick, not their own.

Those were some pretty serious gyrations to attempt (ineffectively, I might add) to illustrate that everybody who is outraged about this family's HORRIBLE, immoral behavior actually hates them.

SMH and chuckling.   Really.  That was beyond ridiculous.

My DIL ued to watch that show,I made fun,told her they creeped me out,especially the Dad....strange family indeed!

I won't be watching.  What little I've seen of these two daughters leaves me with little respect for them.  They seem to want to milk the victim card for all it's worth.

You're waaaaaaaaaaaaay off base here @Constance2.  I don't care if the family worships rocks, they're liars, cheaters, slanderers, back biters, manipulative, greedy, puffed up with pride, lovers of money and protector's of a child molester.

You just proved my point with the venom you are spewing. Slander is easy when you are hiding behind a computer screen. You don't even know these people and you say such mean things. That is just bullying. You appear to lack empathy and mercy and I hope you never have to go through the hell the media has created for this family. Those dissing the Diggers just fuel the fire. People reap what they sow including those who slander. So sad.

I know, @chickenbutt.  I've noticed the labels like "hate" or "haters" inevitably appear in some discussions in an attempt to stifle expression of opposing views.  Those who support this family aren't "lovers," those who don't support them aren't "haters."  Discernment is important, especially when it involves a family who placed themselves on a pedestal, who pointed fingers at others for things they were guilty of themselves, and who used their influence gained by a distorted portrayal of their lifestyle to try and sway political campaigns (among other things).

We all have a right to our opinions of this topic, and personal attacks on posters (on either "side" of the issue) do nothing but derail an otherwise interesting discussion.
