It's Independence Day, for me!
Almost 3 months without my new car. And I am expecting nothing less than perfectly beautiful car I had prior to April the 8th. Then on to the city to eat and share a Benson Boone Mystical Magical ice cream cookie. OOTD will be a new black and white shirt, white capris, and white flip flops with pearls and diamonds.

Hopefully you will also get a payout for depreciation from their insurance company.  It will always be tagged on the Carfax report that it has been in a collision.   Resale value will take a hard hit if you aren't pleased with the repairs.

Absolutely. I had on black and white when I picked up the car also. But, we had to leave the car at the Body Shop. My husband told me before we got there if there is one thing not right we're not taking it home. Leave it to a builder to see one teeny tiny little unaligned seam. The seam between the front left quarter panel and the driver's door was about an eighth of an inch out of line. It will be ready Monday. I was ready to say nobody will see that, let's take her home! 🙄
We went on to the city to Sephora inside Kohl's. I was not expecting that. When Sephora was inside Penny's, it was a sad little pathetic store. The one inside Kohl's was four or five times as big and quite nice. I found everything but the Benefit Blossy blush. They didn't even have a space for it. So I called Ulta and they had it.

@monicakm I'm sorry your car wasn't perfect, but it sounds like you had a really nice day anyway! My DH is an architect, so has that same "eye for detail"...it can sometimes be annoying, lol!

Yes, Sephora is much nicer in Kohl's than it was in Penney's. I think Penney's may be on it's way out of business. That whole mall needs a do - over. I remember years ago going to that mall and I would drop my 2 boys by the arcade while I hurriedly did a little shopping! 😁😁
