Lesson learned! (flu)

I have the flu and am in bed. I saw the doc this AM and DH just ran for tamiflu. I NEVER used to get the flu but I had it 2 yrs ago and now again. I never get the flu shot b/c I was allergic to eggs as a kid although I can eat eggs now I dont eat them alot. Well I WILL BE getting the flu shot like DH starting next year. I feel like I was run over by a mac truck and can barely walk because its aggravating my back/leg issues. Plus I have chills, cough, fever was OVER 103 last night and I was a nervous wreck (DH said I was delirious and mumbling all night in my sleep). I kept drinking and going in cold showers. (so fever went down some now). To top it off DH is on vacation and we had plans to do some things with the grandkids and stuff. So much for THAT. Lesson learned! :-(
