Leather couch

anyone own a leather couch? Love it or hate it?

I am looking for new loveseat with recliners. We thought about high quality leather. We have a 6 yr old dd and med size dog. The dog will have to stay off the funiture.

What are the pros/cons about leather? What is a good brand?
