I agree with all the posts about Leah's presentations and hosting being dignified, professional, and easy to watch. She is always a breath of fresh air and while I do not watch the Q very much I do not mind tuning in to Leah's shows as I know I won't have my finger on the remote!!!!!

Agree , that Leah is very professional with her am  style  shows , but tonight I think she kicked off with a very nervous laugh . I don't know if  she was being told something by the Producer that  made her nervous or that she had to give so many details abt Shawn not being on.  I think she acted nervous .

@skatting44  while I think Leah is very classy and lovely, she always has that nervous laugh and stammering speaking style -- always.  It's a mater of degrees in whether it becomes unbearable for me.  Still, I prefer Leah over a lot of the other hosts.

I wish I would have known she was solo last night as well.  I would have watched and shopped.

I think Leah is one of the best hosts! I think what happens in those moments she's trying to talk to the viewers and the Producer is in her ear giving her instructions and she's trying to listen and do two things at once...I think other hosts just ignore the Producer and proceed on and then say on air--"missed that, what were you saying, or "what's that again..." ..."how many?"(which is annoying to me) Leah's too polite, the Producer needs to wait for the right moment to give instructions .....Some of these Producers make me SMH....ya know like when the host and vendor are focusing on the details of the product and the Producer puts a pop up right over the product soliciting the Q Card or the TSV....or there's pop ups all over the screen and you cant see what they are talking about....or the hosts are out of control and the Producer is no where to be found..

@Spurt   Twenty -five years of hosting should bring about a smoother transition of trying to hear the producer.  Leah has always been this way.  I like her very much, but I also clearly recognize this aspect of her hosting.  Yes, the producers in their ear seem to be very lacking sometimes.  Notwithstanding, Leah's one out of 23 hosts, and this stammering and laughing is a patented Leah trait.  But yes, noticing all that, I still find her wonderful and a true asset to QVC.  Just my opinion.

You and also everyone here is certainly entitled to voice their own opinion that's what Forums are for! And you are always very respectful in doing so....I'll tell you one thing, I'll take Leah with any negatives over the silly, teen-age gigglefest that was Amy and Courtney the other night during a fashion show...maturity seems to definitely be lacking ---channel changer for me. Although Courtney is fine when she hosts alone. But I really wish they'd make a change and try out Katrina in those regular hour fashion show time slots, she possess extra knowledge with her fashion background....JMHO.

I also like Leah very much when she is on solo, she is very professional and gracious. One night I tuned in to QVC and someone was presenting clothes while walking on her knees. I just changed channels

.

@Pecky  I also agree with you and @Caaareful Shopper.  Also, the aahs.  Sometimes they are unbearable.  Was she on this morning?  If not, it was last night then when there were so many aahs.  Some say she acted a little nervous, so maybe that was why.

It's certainly a difficult decision but given a choice I prefer Shawn over Kerstin and Amy
