Lead Paint in Items from China

I wish vendors or the Q would provide a lead-free paint guarantee on the dishes that they sell. Not the ones that are strictly decorative ones, but the ones like VPH's bunny themed ones. I loved those plates and cups, but won't trust them not to have lead paint.

When I called in today about them, the CS rep put me on hold for 4-5 min. and then read a prepared statement from the Q addressing the lead paint issue. I've called on several different products like these, but this was a first.

The statement never guaranteed they were lead-free, BUT did state that the Q has QC teams in all countries, etc., blah, blah.

Anyone else concerned about the lead paint issue on dinnerwear?
