For the life of me, I cannot call that man greedy should he elect to sue the hotel.

That's your position on the matter, the GoFundMe account PLUS private donations are being funded so I fail to see how viable this lawsuit will be, shrugs. Time will tell.

I think that the MGM donating $3 million speaks volumes and if he's smart he'll donate much more.

@sumw5:  Have you ever stayed in LV?  Most of the hotels are huge (several thousand rooms).  Usually check in is very crowded and removed from entrances to floors with rooms (many have security to check room keys).  The only thing that Mandalay Bay obviously did wrong was not checking room when Do No t Disturb sign was up for days; the Wynn (for one) checks rooms with such signs after 12-24 hrs.  I expect to see hotel renamed and marketed differently, just like the casinos did after the Prime at state line did when a small child was abducted and murdered in their restroom.

@patbz We lived in Hdsn for many years, and I remember when that ;iittle girl was murdered. A young kid from California did it, a beautiful blonde guy who probably had everything to live for and he killed the little innocent one and ruined his life forever. Probably "belongs" to some big thug in prison ow.

Yes, Mandalay Bay will have to change it's image, it will take awhile.

This shooter's assets are never going to be enough to satisfy the lawsuits that will be filed. Lookout LasVegas ans Mandalay Bay, cause you will both be sued. It is all so sad. mm

People flock to LV, business will not suffer, i hope those people that have love ones killed get lots of money ,and those hurt. It won't change their sorrow but maybe it will help in some way.
