Google owns the Nest camera system. If you don't have a subscription, the data is not in the Cloud. The kidnappers took the actual cameras. It took awhile for the Google technicians to locate the images from background data that is retained by the company.

I noticed in the pics, it looked light outside.

I thought this took place during night hours, dark.

I also dont understand why they said from the beginning, no pics, camera was disabled...

Now this??

Agree with those who asked why it has taken so long for this pix to be available.  Looks fake ito me.

@Dazlin Photos are enhanced, brightened, colorized.

Guessing they somehow restored footage from the camera today finally.

Maybe he lives at home still and is unemployed ?

Heard on a podcast with Heather McDonald  and she felt it might be someone that moved back to area hitting hard times  to live with parents  in that area .Knowing that Savannah mother lived alone  in that big home.I feel that he was in the house at that hour to rob the house but she woke up .

Maybe they did have the pics all along and we’re trying to apprehend him themselves, but having no luck decided to open it up to the public

Happens a lot of times with crimes.

Maybe but he sure didn’t leave room in his backpack for any stolen goods.

That picture is scary as H*LL. I can't even imagine the pure terror that poor woman endured , waking up and seeing that.

So thrilled at what law enforcement provided. Someone knows that person. I'd beg them to turn him in. There's reward money offered.
