I just spent a long time on the phone talking to customer service regarding a late fee that was charged to my account. My balance was under $25.00 and it was not paid on time. A late fee of the EXACT AMOUNT OWED was charged as a late charge. That is 100% of your balance as a late fee. NEVER have I heard of such and no matter what I had to say the person just keep repeating QVC's policy saying that they can charge that much regardless of your position. I requested that my account be closed and that I will pay this balance off and NEVER want to do business with a "loan shark" that charges 100% late charges on a less than $25.00 balance due. I know it doesn't matter to the company because they are so large but anyone who has experienced this or may in the future needs to beware. Sometimes companies get so big the customer is no longer important. My money is important to me and I was absolutely outraged that they could charge you 100% of your balance as a late charge.
