If you're planning a happy hour at home today, maybe go for some whiskey because Friday is International Whiskey Day.

It's likely that whiskey originated in Ireland. In Gaelic, its name means "water of life."

Some of the most popular varieties of scotch come from Ireland and Scotland.

Whiskey also has health benefits in moderation. It has antioxidants to prevent cancer and is often used to soothe sore throats.

DH is outside smoking a cigar drinking some whiskey.

He just bought 2 cases even though the liquor stores are still open. LOL!!!

Not normally a drinker but I could go for a nice frozen strawberry daiquiri with whipped cream right now.

Husband preferred Chivas Regal Scotch. I like the smell of scotch but definitely, definitely too strong an alcohol for me!

I must say that our grocery stores have really been working hard to help customers get what they need.  

I was told today ....  but thank goodness our stores still have plenty of alcohol, ice cream .... and chocolate!   LOL
