Birthdays this week: Uncle 91 on Monday, DIL on Wednesday, my pup turning 10 on Thursday.

To do this week: closing on a new home, moving and staying with DS and DDIL.

We've been on the road since Monday 20th moving from the Philly area to Santa Fe.   Tomorrow we visit friends who are vacationing in Colorado until next Saturday when we move into our rental in SF.   Long and very boring drive but Kansas City was the highlight of our trip.  What a fabulous city.  We had NO idea.

3 loved ones have doctor appointments this week.  I'll be driving and baby-sitting and doing a lot of praying.

Aside from holding on to the last  3 weeks of summer with both hands, nothing.

I do have the usual household chores, laundry, vacuum, dusting. 

The temperture here has been blah, 79' 77' and cloudy from all the fires. Doesn't even feel like we had a summer. Hopefully we will get a burst of hot weather in September.

Contractor’s crew will be here this week putting siding on our 85 year old house. So excited that we won’t need to do touch up painting any longer except on our small workshop.
