So that answers that question.  I was wondering it this has filled the lake levels back up to normal.  That's great!  But, I wonder what this is doing to crops.  It's either not enough rain for them or too much.

My goodness! After these past 2 days of hard rain, we need a boat! Then, our backyard backs up to a lake, so, if and when it ever dries out, we will need a tractor/shredder to mow!

I just saw on one of the local news site that Lake Jacksonville as been closed until further notice.  The lake is way too full.  I cannot believe it is 68º outside right now.

Just closed Lake Tyler too.

Wed is our lawn man's day to mow our property.  He couldn't yesterday.  If he has to wait till next Wed, it's going to be a mess Smiley Surprised  Google is showing it's raining right now but the cameras don't show any rain.  Weather Bug shows rain from now thru 1pm.  I'm not ready to complain YET.  We've been in a horrible drought for 10 years @Sapphiregal ??  Does that sound about right?  My memory is horrible but it seems that long.

Yes, we had been in a drought for number of years, even though we got some substantial rains spring of last year - and then summer hit - so hot and dry.

it will have to dry out before any mowing will happen here any time soon - yard is extremely soggy!
