Last Supermoon of 2021 - June 24-25

It is the Strawberry Moon, named by the Algonquin, Ojibwa, Dakota, and Lakota tribes to mark the ripening of "June bearing" strawberries ready to be gathered.

Here in the mid-Atlantic it should be visible between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. with peak time at 3 a.m.

I'm looking forward to seeing it!  Smiley Happy

Thank you for that reminder @beach-mom!

I was out in my back yard trying to take a few photos.

The moon is so bright and brilliant--just mesmerizing!
