Laser Therapy for Dogs

Does anyone have experience with this? I had to rush my very precious 4 y/o chihuahua, Chico, to the vet this morning. He woke up "screaming" in pain. They said his neck is out of place and gave him laser therapy. They said it would work right away for the most part. He doesn't seem to be any better. I'd appreciate any information on this regarding good/bad experiences. Thanks so much!
