Location and state are based on the corporate headquarters of that company, no branches or foreign offices. Lastly, we decided not to include any subsidiaries or government entities for the sake of staying consistent.

Well, we missed our guess. Some we've never heard of and the others weren't surprising. I get a kick out of these maps, too. Just fun facts. ${#emotions_dlg.thumbup}$

Kind of surprising. I don't know anyone in CA who works for Chevron. I would have guessed one of the Silicon Valley companies would be first. (Google, Apple, Adobe, HP, etc). Or even one of the big agricultural companies.
