It got us wondering where you would choose to vacation, a lake house or a beach house? Even better – show us your favorite summer vacation photos!!

I enjoy both lake and beach vacations, but my first love will always be my place on the beach. As for posting my personal vacation photos....ummmm, no. Not a chance. It's waayyyyyyy too easy for anyone with merely basic computer skills to extract personal info from them.

Not picky here! I'd take a vacation anywhere. DH would want the lake so he could fish. I just want somewhere peaceful and away from everything and everybody.

I'd like to vacation at a nice lake that's located somewhere where the weather is on the cooler side. It wouldn't be as crowded as the beach but I would miss the sound of the waves from the ocean. I don't swim so whatever's in the water wouldn't bother me anymore-the seaweed, which I disliked, or the fish in a lake. I want the view, the peace and quiet, the views of the water from a large deck.

A nice beach vacation. just got back from one and I tell you, I am ready for another. So calming watching the waves..We were only in Corpus Christi visiting my in laws, there was a water warning with high bacteria so we didn't go in the water but our hotel overlooked the bay. LOVED sitting on the balcany just watching the waves.

A lake house vacation is my choice, hands down.

Make it a lake surrounded by woods and with no motor boats allowed.

Peace and quiet with just the gentle lapping of waves on the lake shore.
