I remember her from The Engagement Ring, great, and many other performances, great voice.  Hopefully, this was just a misunderstanding, but it doesn't sound like it.

I’m not well-versed in the law, but I wonder - if this is something that happened in the past, but wasn’t reported, would the store be able to use that video evidence in court?  It seems that if they ignored any previous incident(s), that may make any previous evidence as inadmissible in court.  Also, it makes the store look bad if they looked away and let a crime occur without intervention in the past.
