Re: Ladies Wigs - recommendations or experiences

Yes, HiLo, I use wig hair spray as well as wig shampoo and conditioner. I will say that different wigs of the SAME style all have their own issues, even though they are made the same. Sometimes, I love the wig right out of the box and other times I have to really work with it and use lots of spray to get it to do what I want it to. Odd, since they are the same manufacturer and style, but that is my experience.

I like Rene of Paris, it is the same maker as Noriko & Amore, just a little more budget wise for me Smiley Happy. I get them from Joshua 24 ( also known as Name Brand Wigs) they have the best prices, I can get my fave, Jade in Dark Chocolate for $52. Their customer service is absolutely amazing, they get back to me right away, even on weekends! The Jade is very popular and for awhile was on back order so now they order 4 at a time for me and hold them there for when I need to order. I get 2 at a time and then they order 2 more so I am never out. I have to wear one all the time, when my son died in 2002 the stress caused my hair to fall out and it never grew back right. But I always have a great hair day!! I love the on AZCowgirl chose too! I can't figure out how to post a pic but of course easy to find on the website Smiley Happy

The right wig looks so natural. They are great if you are trying to grow your hair out after a short haircut. Not sure about this but I think Shawn wears one???

I agree...the right wig does look so natural. They look even more natural if you get them trimmed to your face. In my case, most of mine have to be thinned out with thinning shears to look natural. The only wig I have never had to thin out is a really cute bob called Scorpio by Revlon. My Noriko wig, Reese, is one I love, too, but it is way too poofy on the top. Once thinned out, however. it looks great. I will be 64 next month and wigs take 10 years off my looks! I always mess mine up a bit so style doesn't look stiff. When I wash them in wig shampoo.... I then rinse them in Downey or some other softener. It works so well and brings them back to looking new. My wigs are synthetic so I wouldn't advise the softener on human hair. I wear headbands with mine a lot ....which is so cute. Love my wigs and get many compliments on "my hair".{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}
