I agree. What she's doing is what someone with little experience and no meaningful contacts would do. It seems more suited for someone just getting started, not a woman with years of experience on national television and presumably access to many people who could open doors for her.

I work in television, and when she left QVC, I posted here that I knew it had not been her choice to leave. Of course I got jumped on. I think it's pretty clear that - no matter how we all want to believe her time at QVC came to an end - she lied when she said she had big exciting plans and was moving on to something wonderful. IMO it's very obvious that there was no plan and that she's currently grasping at straws. Her ego got in the way at QVC, and she got a taste of reality as a result.

I think that some of the people she felt she had an In with or owed her, or would do her favors, had limits and she wasn't accommodated. I think several possible things she thought were going to blossom just didn't happen; she was/is on her own in a way she's never been before. She's scrambling, and it shows in her cobbled-together, awkward business model.

The candles she will be selling look like the Solare candles, with the 3D flame. What I find odd is that her Luminaras always worked, but now that she has something to sell, they're defective. Makes me wonder at the coincidence.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

On her last couch chat, she admitted she didn't have a plan in place for future endeavors after leaving QVC. Shortly after she left Katie reached out to her and said she was thinking about leaving the Q. Lisa had no business plan in mind then but wanted to hire Katie so she then created this business model around hiring Katie. She didn't have a clue what she was doing, and still doesn't, IMO. So to all those who think she had "big plans" after she left QVC, I'm afraid that she was less than honest about that.

I love the irony of these anti-Lisa posts. The obsessed anti-tribe continue to make Lisa the focus of their attention. They can't stand her, they criticize her every move, yet they just.....can't.....stay.....away.

I think Lisa thought she was going to do bigger and better. Way back when, closer to when Lisa parted ways with QVC, she had some things in the works, according to her. But she made random comment on her FB page that she felt there was a special place in he!! for women who won't help other women. I got the feeling something went wrong in what she was trying to do.

Maybe Lisa thought with all the connections she had through QVC, she'd be able to get something going and that didn't pan out. She does seem to keep in touch with many Q vendors and a few hosts.

The one thing that strikes me is there is nothing about contact with Judith Ripka since she left QVC. She and JR acted like they were besties when JR was on the air. Lisa is in NY quite often but yet, there is never a mention of lunch, dinner or visit with JR.

On her most recent chat, she even admitted that shopping on her site is a "GAME. .. and stated "sometimes you win and sometimes you lose". An awful lot of people who want to spend money with her are losing. It's getting more and more obvious she is not treating this like a business. Okay for her to have this hobby that allows her to travel, and sell things at noon only, but doesn't she feel any responsibility to her employees who put everything on the line and expect to make a living?

Someone asked during a chat who Katie was, if she was an employee or friend and Lisa said both. She said she's an employee but there are only 3 of them so they are all friends too.

Okay, I have showed up to save the day, lol. My advice is to relax and step away from Lisa's FB page if you don't like what she is saying or doing. Simple, go shopping elsewhere. But, again, I realize this is your entertainment, lol.

I can not believe all these detailed statements of what is going on over at Lisa's FB page from the NON-TRIBE. I like Lisa and yes, I have ordered a couple of items from her home decor (no jewelry), and I am a tribe member, .....BUT....

Goodness gracious alive, I do not read her every move like most of you do here who claim to be ANTI LISA. I go read and participate about once a week, but some of you are there every minute of the day, reporting what is going on....that is the best laugh of the day.....obsessed much? But you know, I lubs you all. Just had to point that out....
