LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR

[ Edited ]

            Love your Neighbor

                 who doesn't

                 look like you,

                 think like you,

                 love like you,

                 pray like you,

                 vote like you,

            Love your Neighbor,

               No Exceptions.

This is part of our County Commissioners press conferences every week for the past month.  Our city as started a new initiative called "Love your Neighbor" reminding us to try to check on and see if anything is needed by people close by us.  Of course at a distance.  I have been checking on older neighbor and offering my assistance.  Thanks @Lindsays Grandma and to  my city in East Texas who wants us to love one another.

I'm for all of those but the "no exceptions" might be hard to take.

Thank you Smiley Happyfor reminging us of this.  Sometimes I think we forget how to be a good neighbor.  I always try to be kind and considerate.  I am blessed with great neighbors.  If I have extra anything they get it if they have extra I get it.  Just yesterday my neighbor said we all have to take care of each other.

My neighbor, young kids stopped speaking to me.  They had been very friendly, but don,t even wave.  I never ask for anything.  I am 83 and active, don,t need their help, so it,s odd.

not one neighbor has offer a hello . Have lived  here in same house 44 yrs. Odd.  I was out trimming bushes yesterday and waved,  nothing.  I well, so be it.  I,m ok.  Have enough food and can take care of myself.  Plus, I have two sons that have done my shopping.  Very fortunate.

My neighbors are nice and friendly without imposing, except for one. That one won't social distance and has people coming and going from their house every day.

Love my mom, brother and SIL who are my front door neighbors.

@RedTop I thought of you the minute I read the title and thought maybe it's possible in an ideal world. Any neighbor who brings a rat infestation to the neighborhood will not be tolerated, much less loved, by me.
