Things are okay here, for now. My brother is here for a long weekend...unfortunately, I work most of that time. My dad will have 2 CT scans in early March to see if the cancer has continued to spread. My mom is recovering from cataract surgery on one eye; she will have the other one done later. So, we're getting by. My latest issue is that I've had an upset stomach frequently over the past few days. Oh...and my ex started a new job, then wound up in the ER because he had an allergic reaction to some sort of chemical they use there. Now he has no job. I think the upset stomach might have something to do with that, since it started at about the time I got a text at 6:30 in the morning from him, telling me how bad he felt and that he had hives and all that. (I decided to pick up the phone and call when he sent a text that said, "kill me." He seemed really miserable.) I don't know what he's going to do, but I guess I don't have much control over it.
I hope things are more pleasant with you and your family...including the granddog. Love that Jaspy!!!

Oh, Mistri! I'm so sorry that you have stomach problems. With me, my stomach usually reflects every little and big stress in my life. I hope you feel better soon!!!!! You sure don't need that right now!
That's awful about your ex "being allergic to his job!!" Does he know what specifically caused it? I hope he's recovered and is looking for another job! It must be really stressful to be unemployed!!
I hope all your critters are doing well!! I sent you'all Valentines wishes, but I guess you missed that. Jasper is enjoying the 14" of snow we have here. He makes grooves in his yard to get around to the important places! Beats me how he does it, because he's not very big. And he sure doesn't have his own little snow shovel!

I don't know what's going on with the ex. He hasn't answered my texts; I don't know if his cell has been shut off, or if he just isn't responding.
I'm still laughing at the thought of Jasper wielding a little snow shovel...or perhaps a pick and a headlamp...?
