Some people need to lighten up a little.
If he sang the song while performing a yearly PEB (Physical efficiency battery) which consists of 1.5 mile run, bench press, agility run, body fat test, sit and reach, I'd be impressed. But while driving a car endangering lives, you got to be kidding! If he wants to lipsinc the lyrics written and performed by a 25 year old girl he can do it on his own time!
WOW...........you have a problem with people that are a little on the heavier side????
did you pay attention to the background?????.............did you notice the absence of passing traffic, with the exception of TWO cars in a parking lot.......LOL.........he wasn't putting anyone in danger............he WAS however, providing about five minutes of humor...............................raven
He's an out of condition cop. Ask your son if he'd like him as a partner. I certainly wouldn't want him answering a call that was of a serious nature on our street. Regarding his driving while singing.....he took his hands off the wheel a few times.

If you were in serious need of a cop and this one showed up, would you tell him to go away and you'll wait for someone else? I doubt it...

kittymonNC.....no cop wants an obese partner and why? It puts their life in jeopardy and that goes double for the people they are hired to protect. Taxpayers deserve better than that.

Apparently he meets the qualifications of his police department, or he wouldn't be there. So would you tell him to go away so you could wait for a thinner cop?

Not true. His dept simply doesn't test them after they're hired. Not good for anyone. I've never seen an obese cop out here.

And you know this for a fact? I've never heard of a police department that didn't require annual physical fitness tests. And I guess I'm not going to get an answer to my question, but that's okay. Lack of an answer is sometimes the best answer. Have a good evening.

When he was hired he had to pass a physical fitness test. The fact that he is now obese tells everyone that his dept doesn't do further testing.

my son did have a partner that was a bigger size man.....my son said he was one of the best partners he ever had and one he knew he could always count on.....you're making a lot of assumptions...........the first and biggest one is you think this officer can't pass a pft test............and you'd probably be wrong...........there is a tv show on right now about a very large woman...............who teaches dance and that gal could probably dance you into the floor........just because they might be large doesn't mean they aren't fit..............raven

He is a trooper with 15 years experience and yes he's out on the streets. He answers to a Sargeant. See my post further on down that shows how to access a rank chart for their dept. It's on this website:
