I don't think so .....  Lisa was smart, ambitious and a hard worker.  However, it looks (to me) like she had taken that job as far as it could go.   If she wanted more, it would have to happen elsewhere.

We can agree to disagree.   It was a big mistake.

She's now resorting to informercials...that's very telling.  

It's a shame how she was so big on QVC and now she doesn't seem to have a true calling.  I hope she's happy.  She was an excellent host and beloved on that channel.  

She was working on that GILI line which seemed to have been going strong.  She probably had quite a few years left of customer's interest in that line so it was "too soon to leave the party".

Win @winamac1, I agree, she was (to me) the best the Q had to offer and was the only host I'd sometimes watch in spite of... what she might have been selling. That said, I do get it that maybe she just couldn't face the prospect of doing what she was doing any longer... Let's face it, the merchandise has become so boring and so repetitive that I don't see how the hosts continue to hawk it...

It could be too that had TPTB worked with her to narrow her focus to include more or less just those things she enjoyed doing she might have stayed, but they had her honcho-ing so many nights and weekends on top of her eponymous shows and Gili that despite the frequent vacations, it had to take a toll...

Personally, I think they both blew it... by not negotiating a deal that worked for everyone... I remember, too, her announcement followed somewhat quickly on the heels of Joan Rivers demise and Claire Watts apparent dismissal from QVC, so who knows what impact those events had on her decision that it was time to move on.

        She hasn't been able to get anything going in the 18 months since she left QVC.  I would not be surprised to see her re-surface as a host on Evine in 2017.  HSN doesn't need her but Evine does need an experienced host who actually knows what's she's doing when it comes to fashion and style. R

CHRYSTALTREE....I have never watched or shopped at Evine.  Do they good items and prices?

I really do not see Lisa being a host elsewhere, maybe a vendor.  But, I know, never say never, lol! 😄

         Evine has some very nice things and the prices are great and they have 6 easy pays almost all the time.  But!  Their blaring white set is hard on the eyes, the hosts are hot mess, their stylists are a disgrace to the shopping channel profession.  You have wade through all that to get to the good stuff.
