@shoekitty, thank you for that assessment of the "evolution" of Rive Gauche.  I had also had that impression, that something had changed, slightly, but couldn't quite put my finger on it as well as you have.  Bummer!  I had the identical experience as you with that scent--  loved it, found it so distinctive, and had more compliments with it than almost any other...
