Kim was just a stylist to Paris Hilton before that and a 'closet organizer', LOL!
IMO, a sad testimonial as to what our society has become.
I haven't seen it, have you? I'm still interested in them in a passive sort of way. I think they've gone way, way beyond a sex tape. At this point everyone who's anyone has one. 😂😈😜
Actually I have. Way too gross to discuss.
And while they may have gone way beyond a sex tape now, I stand by my statement that this is where it all started.
They mean nothing to me, I could not care less who likes them or doesn't like them, that's your right, I'm just saying that I personally avoid them at all costs, which is almost impossible to do.
But I try!
....but yet, you're here.
🤷♀️
Yes @sidsmom, here I am.
And I have every right to be, so if you don't like it, too bad.
Try not to be so consistently obnoxious to anyone who doesn't agree with you, about anything.
But I'm sure that's not possible for you, as history has proven.
I said nothing disparaging to you or any other Kardashian worshipers here, quite the opposite.

If someone watches or pays any mind to the Kar Jenners it doesn't necessarily imply they like them. They are a spectacle. A reality freak show. It's like watching 90 day fiance. Nobody respects or likes these people. However they are entertaining. Good on Kylie for selling while her company is still worth a lot of money. That was a smart decision. She can thank all the teenage girls out there for lining her pockets. I don't particularly care for her as she seems to completely lack a real personality but she clearly got some business smarts from mom.

@Grouchomarx from time to time they can be entertaining- right to the point of saying "seriously" LOL . yes they are a spectacle and do put on a show, for lack of a better description.

I think IG makes valid points. I witnessed on video Kylie's treatment of her "fans"...she can be very rude to people who idolize her with "Don't touch me" said too many and showing up late often to her OWN events. At least Kim seems to connect to her fans and treat them nicely. Of all the K's Kylie gets most on my nerves...but hey...she has made her way and lots of money...so I guess kudos to her. After seeing her what I call rudeness...she will never get any of my money.

I saw where she has an airport vending machine in Las Vegas.
I've seen makeup vending machines (Benefit) at Love Field
so the concept is not new but just another venue to sell
without store overhead. Smart move.

There's an interesting article about Coty buying a majority of Kylie Cosmetics on the Business of Fashion website. The article is behind a paywall but simply disable both of the Business of Fashion cookies on the article if you are using the Google Chrome browser or disable cookies if you are using an ipad or iphone Safari browser, clear your cookie cache and reload the page and you can read the article.
Basically Coty wants to reach those young women 18-24 who are fans of Kylie Jenner and who follow her on social media and who shop for beauty based on social media influencers.
Coty's past mergers and acquisitions of Procter and Gamble's beauty brands hasn't gone so well. An interesting tidbit is that Coty paid $12.5 billion in 2016 for 43 Procter and Gamble brands.

good for her bank account, bad for her brand.
and only owning 49% means that coty can over rule any decision that she makes.
coty has probably already come up with a cheaper version of whatever products she has.

To be fair, Kylie did NOT do this on her own. Kris helped her set the whole thing up along with lots of legal help. In addition, she already had name recognition and access to a lot of money or capital. She didn't have to stump for investors and start up cash nor did she have to pitch it on Shark Tank. She's a pretty girl and has a following who buy her stuff. Someone clue me in here: are the ingredients made in the USA or do they come from China? Do they pass strict safety tests? Are animals involved in any of the testing?

I read that Kylie cosmetics are made without any products derived from animals and that they are not tested on animals.
But she sold it to Coty which does test on animals.
So much for integrity in that arena.
