I think I read on here a while back that Kohls takes expired coupons, Kohls dollars, etc.

We got some Kohls dollars (or whatever they call it) today and the clerk made a point of saying that it would not be honored beyond the expiration date. She said something like we aren't doing that anymore. (not exact words).

Oooo. That's interesting, Scottie. Our stores have always accepted them after the expiration date, too, but I haven't been there in a while. Thanks for the heads up.

I have a friend who worked there...here is a secret she gave me (and it worked).

I have a Kohl's charge and got 15% when I checked on my secret discount. I went to the store and told them I would buy 4 settings of Fiesta ware, but needed the 30% discount...I was hoping I would have received it. I really wanted 30% off and would wait until I got that percentage coupon in the mail and would buy nothing that day.

They gave me the 30% off on the spot.

I bought a couple of things at Kohl's yesterday and was told by the associate at the register that effective 8/1, they would not accept coupons and/or Kohl's cash that were not within the valid dates printed on them. She was very apologetic and said it was a new corporate policy. I see no problem with it. Why did they even put expiration or a range of valid dates on them if they would take them anytime?

I also saw a women tell the clerk that she forgot her 30% off coupon and they gave her the discount anyway.

The problem I have with them is on the phone. I've had to call customer service several times recently and got the most unprofessional people and my problems were not resolved. I eventually found out the answers I needed to on my own, but when they sent me an e-mail survey asking how their customer service was during my call I let them know I wasn't pleased.

I was in line and the clerk told the person receiving the Kohls cash expired Kohls cash would no longer honored past 8/1.

I didn't know that they ever took expired coupons. The only place I've heard of that does this, is Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I hope they don't stop taking them---since I don't go there often, I stock up on many things at once, and use up all my older coupons. I love that you can use one/item.
