@bikerbabe  don´t forget that shopping on line is the same thing. You never know who has tried on the clothing before you.

@Sage04    You are incorrect.  QVC clothing is packaged ins plastic at the factory and has not been tried on.  The only exception might be if you get on a waitlist and get a returned item.  The returns I've received over the years have all been in pristine condition.

Question, because I rarely shop at brick and mortar stores anymore and haven’t for several years:

Who wants to try on clothes after they’ve been tried-on by someone else?

Well, no trying on clothes anyway...

Our retails stores were allowed to open today.  However, according to local news outlets, someone forgot to tell the shoppers they are open. There are very few people shopping.

It was also reported that some stores have decided to stay closed.

Maybe they know they are open but are just smart and staying away.

While I am glad some stores are able to open, I wonder how many are following guidelines for the safety of the workers and customers.  I wonder if the customers are wearing masks., how about social distancing.

You may have reason to celebrate if everyone follows social distancing, wearing masks, gloves and  are very careful about their own safety and the safety of others.  I hope so.  But if people are rushing out and doing the opposite, their celebration will be short lived.

This pandemic isn't over because of store openings, stay safe shoppers.

i wonder what the number f infected will be in 2 orv3 weeks???

This is where I'm at with it all.

Retail opened today in Ohio, and I have no interest whatsoever of going. I don't need anything bad enough. My trips to the grocery are as much as I intend to do right now.

I'm apprehensive for my yearly mammo and dental appointment (which got moved from April 30th, to September 24th, as their first open appointment). I don't even want to go to those. I really want a haircut, but not right now, thanks anyway.

I honestly don't see me in a restaurant (or even take out) for the remainder of this year, if things go as some predict.

Re: Kohl's open !

[ Edited ]

I stopped at Marshall's today got as far as getting a cart from "sanitizing" clerk!  Walked about 5' into store and realized

no way am I shopping here (I was looking for rug for kitchen) within first few minutes I saw crowded aisles -- turned around, returned the cart and out the door.

Headed to HomeGoods in same complex...exact same thing!

The kitchen carpet can wait another few weeks as everyone must have the same idea -- go shopping!

I do wish Pottery Barn, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ross, & Pier 1 were open but both stores had sign "store closed".  I hope not for good.   This would be the demise of another strip shopping center in our area☹️

Kohls is in the next strip mall and they are closed with limited curbside service.   @SharkE  our Dillard's is closed and when it reopens it will be outlet store (planned for July).

Willy nilly? I have never heard this before lol

I am curious to know what you like at Kohl's? I have purchased a Keurig there and some Nike items for my son for athletics but, the clothing is awfully cheap-looking there. I have never understood te appeal.

I went to a Hobby Lobby once and it was the junkiest store that I have ever been in. After what they did to their employees during this pandemic, I would bever go there again anyway. I am also very turned off by their practices.

Going out to eat? Be careful.
