Kittys and vacations

We are going away for Spring Break. Our dog is going to the Doggie Hotel and I have yet to decide what to do with our 4-5 month old kitten.

I've been told they don't like to leave their home. IF I leave her here and she gets fed daily, I know she'd be ok but she loves to climb all over us and I fear she will be very lonely.

The Doggie Hotel has a kitty room. Where the cats are allows to roam and the lady is there all of the time to check on them. She insists the cats are all upto date on shots, flea free, etc.

Or I can see if someone can take her for the week in their home. One family I'm thinking about has 2 dogs and several cats. She's a rescue shelter for animals, but she keeps the rescues in a different area.

Any suggestions???
