I’m thinking of changing my white GE kitchen appliances which were in my house when I purchased it.
I’m leaning towards getting stainless and getting a suite of appliances which appears to be how a few stores offer them now so you can get a matching set. It’s my understanding items can be swapped if something in the suite wouldn’t work out.I like this idea however the reviews are so mixed on most appliances.I haven’t purchased any large appliances in sometime. It seems like I’d just have to take a chance on what I might like, unless of course, all the reviews were horrible!
Most items don't appear to built to last any longer like they did in the past when many brands were dependable.
The stove has to be electric and most stoves now it seems have convection ovens. .For the refrigerator I’m leaning towards one with the French door.I currently have side by side. I also noticed on some models the ice maker can take up quite a bit of space on the inside. I do like that they have water filters now.
I’d appreciate hearing any experiences, pros/cons, with various brands/styles for a stove, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave and the quality of the item or anything you might want to jump in and say about these kitchen appliances. Thanks!
