Hi Noel!  There are lots of options for organic chocolate bars.  My weakness is a milk chocolate w/toffee and sea salt.  No need for Non GMO labeling for certified organic.

Hersheys promised their most popular candies (Kisses included) to be non GMO this year (?).

I try to stay away from candy period, but GMOs, takes the craving away---completely.  I guess that's a good thing.

Hi LC Smiley Happy

I get a couple of organic no-sugar dark chocolate bars at Cost Plus World Market for DH's stocking at Christmas.  Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure they say no gmo.

I don't want gmo, either.

@Lucky Charm, my health food store carries certified organic, non-GMO ground medjool dates rolled in organic coconut flakes. To die for! (I tried them on a lark one day and was instantly hooked). Highly recommend if you haven't ventured there yet. Must be medjool!

I don't know why they don't sell medjool dates in heart shaped boxes!Heart

I *love* Medjool dates!  They are better than candy Heart

Costco sells the best around here.

I've used them for a breakfast cookie I make as the sweetener.

Nature's Promise has good organic medjools and also my favorite--Turkish apricots.  We call them *mummy tongues*.  They look disgusting, but addicting.  You have to be careful---sugar sugar sugar!

I love the good dried apricots, also.  Trader Joe's has some that, although dried, are soft and supple.  I cut them up during the holidays and add them to salads, along with the TJoe's also soft dried orange cranberries.  They make a colorful team in a nice green salad.  If you like fruit in salad, of course.  The husband of a friend doesn't want any fruit mixed with other food... we love it!

My favorite and the only candy I eat besides Reeses peanut butter. I still have some Christmas kisses but will also pick these up.

Re: Kisses For Valentine's Day

Those are cute but I haven't bought Kisses for a long time. I prefer semiswet chcolate. I do enjoy Butterfingers and Peanut MMs but they aren't as cute as a color wrapped kiss.. Does anyone know if there are crispy versions. Chcolate with rice crispies or something like that? That I could get behind.

I'm pretty sure I've seen M&Ms come in a crispy version.  There's a little fun size Hershy's, too, but I can't recall the name.  But... those are all milk chocolate.

Honestly, Target has the biggest selection of candy in bags that I've ever seen in my area.  Especially around candy holidays: Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween and Christmas.

I was at the grocery this morning and what did I see up by the cash register?  A display of Russell Stover EASTER EGGS!!

My daughter was in Target the other day and said they had a little Easter candy out, too.  And Easter isn't until March 27!
