That is awful. I don't think that really looks like him.

Huh.  Well, that's different.

I've seen a few comments ... not many think it's flattering.

I think that the artist really did capture Charles. The face is absolutely perfect imo. Serious, but with a softness to it.

I love the butterfly that emphasizes his love of gardening and the environment in general.

Red is my favorite color, so I am happy about that. Red also looks so regal.

Wonder what the commoners paid for that?

No. Not good at all. Not even the little butterfly helps this unfortunate piece of art.

I'm not a fan of this.

To me, there are too many dark shadows in his face which just makes it look dirty and I don't like how his uniform seems to disappear into the background.

I'm not sure what this portrait is portraying? Is it supposed to be strength because of the fiery colors or weakness because he just blends and fades into the background?

I don't care for it at all.  Everything is red.  What stands out his is face and his hands ( which look creepy and way too big, and  out of proportion.)

His face has deeper wrinkles than he actually has.  It is not flattering at all. He has never been a handsome man, but is not scary looking.  This portrait is downright scary.

It reminds me of the Vigo portrait in Ghostbusters.

He looks a little sad and somewhat pensive.

And there was no one left to speak out for me....

Re: King Charles Official Portrait

That is disturbing.

Why on earth would he choose that as his portrait?😳😳😳😳😳
