Well, let's see--Demi was on a Vanity Fair cover that was not a selfie.  I don't think she was trying to prove she was pregnant, either.  I think there were/are different motivations in both cases.

This woman and her whole family have so many issues it's unreal.

She is masking her insecurity by acting like she is in love with herself.

After the 2nd baby comes, just watch, she and Kanye will separate.   All these people are are attention seekers.   They have nothing to offer the world intellectually or creatively.    They have taken advantage of people wanting to "be like them" and have made obscene amounts of money for  no reason. 

They are neither entertaining nor fascinating but only to themselves.
