Prime error keurig b70. This is addressing the issue of fill light when already full and the prime light on the keurig b70. An air bubble under the strainer in the fill reservoir was causing the prime issue. The machine would take forever to prefill. Eventually machine started the prime alarm. Fill the reservoir with water, reach down to three screws on little filter retainer and undo. It will float to top. Then turn it sideways to release all air and reinstall without taking it out of water. Pain in the butt but it works. Fills quickly now. No prime error and full cup of coffee again. If anyone can find the page related to the prime error, please copy paste as I couldn't find it for the life of me

The first two (of my son's) that quit working, (each within a year) they sent new ones- after the third, they refused...

I had one issue, they could not resolve it over the phone. They sent me a new one.

The second time around, they waked me step by step thought a needle cleaning process and it works fine.

I would get a new one in any case. They are about to make changes in the original I am told and will sell a newer version that will not take the old K cups. I would hate to be in a position with all the K cup coffees out there and not be able to buy the original cups.

I feel your frustration. A few years ago I had a top of the line Keurig that went bad at 13 months and was not replaced.

DH purchased a Mr. Coffee/Keurig in December and so far it's working great. I always use filtered water in it. I tried My Coffee cup but it tasted so weak no matter what coffee I used, so now I just use Keurig cups. The only thing I don't like about it is that I have to add water each time I use it. But that's okay ... as long as it works and makes good coffee it's all good.

Whenever you make beverages such as hot cocoa make sure you remove the K-cup promptly and then run a cycle or two of hot water through the holder area. Just do a mock beverage run with the Keurig and catch the hot water in a cup. If this cleaning isn't done any extra cocoa (or other sticky matter) can clog up the needle area.

LOL, from what I've read on these and other boards, they'll happily replace the product. In fact, it's almost laughable how over-the-moon women are about the fact that they're readily replaced instead of being outraged at what appears to be a consistently shoddy product.

My favorite was the poster who asked a BB&B employee if she could return a Keurig she was purchasing, should she run into any problems. He said something along the lines of, "It'll die. They always do."

I just spent a quarter of an hour answering an e-mail from Keurig Customer Service, detailing to them why I did NOT buy a fourth Keurig Platinum model for the discounted price they offered me when my third Platinum died this week. It was, as the others had been, out of warranty by a few months. I bought a Mr. Coffee thermal carafe coffee maker for ten dollars less then the quoted price from Keurig, didn't have to wait or pay for shipping to get to me, and will probably last me the rest of my life. I have a similar Krups that's around 20 years old and going strong. The Keurig died the same day as the Q's TSV, and I *almost* ordered one, but then I saw the $15.22 s/h cost and that I'd have to wait nearly two weeks to get it, and came to my senses. I have come to the conclusion that Keurig coffee makers are almost like an addiction, and the company will do almost anything to keep it's customers "hooked". No 12 step program needed, just say "NO!"

Keurig replaced my model at no charge (not even for shipping) and it was 18 months after I had bought it...no receipt required - I just read the serial number to the Keurig rep over the phone.

My experience with them has been wonderful.

Meanwhile, you're all making me feel very smug, because my Cuisinart auto drip pot has been working every day for going on ten years. It still makes great coffee, too, even if I only want two cups (which is 12 oz.) Or I just do what Starbuck's calls a "pour-over" with my little #2 paper filter that fits on top of a mug. My experience with Keurig was not so good--it didn't seem easier, and the coffee wasn't anything special. I know folks really love their Keurigs, and I respect that, but I still can't figure out why, unless it's for offices or families where everyone wants something different. They seem ideal for that application. Oh, and I love the idea one of you had about using it in a guest room--what a nice thing to offer for when guests wake up and want coffee, but don't know your system or don't want to get dressed yet.

If you have had trouble with a newish Keurig, try turning off the unit, pulling out the plug, re-plugging the unit, and turning the unit back on. We have one that works great, but not unless we do the plug routine.
