I'd go to B, B & B for my Keurig- since they're good with returns as well. But I think Kohls has better sale prices. I'll check out each store! I know Costco would be great with returns- but they don't always have Keurigs. If I needed to bring it back I wouldn't want to be stuck without a coffee maker! I know people are saying Keurig has great customer service- but that can always change. If I don't have to make a phone call about a problem & hope for a good resolution- I'll be much happier!

We bought our Keurig at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. When it died, I called the store because it was out of warranty. They said no problem, just bring it in and pick out a new one. I didn't have the receipt. They just pulled me up in the computer based on my phone number, and said go pick out a new one. They said this was true of anything purchased at any BB&B. Just take it back anytime - no limit - and get a replacement or a store credit for current value.
I had no idea, but was pleased. I remember as I walked out with the new Keurig, they said "you'll be back when that one dies - they all do".
That last sentence is really telling. I may go ahead and buy a back-up one at BB&B. I didn't realize they didn't have a time limit on returns.

I'm not sure what she would have told me next. I think I need to call back again though, because a lot of water seems to be coming out the bottom. :::sigh:::
We did some trouble-shooting like this after looking online. It worked!

I admit to being nervous about purchasing my keurig k10 after reading some reviews. Not a problem yet. In fact, I don't want to go back to a regular brewer.

I also agree that Keurig has excellent CS! When ours died after 2 yrs, they sent us a new one at no charge! This one has been going strong for 4 yrs, but when it dies, We will also call for a new one. My daughters each have the personal Keurig & have had no problems.

Most likely they will send you another one. I had trouble very shortly after using the first one I got from QVC. I was told to contact Keurig directly, and they were very helpful.
It needs to be cleaned periodically to keep it working properly. They can instruct you over the phone, but there are videos on Keurig's website that are helpful. If you use a lot of hot chocolate or K-cups that contain more of a thicker powder (cappuccinos, etc), that can clog the needle area. Even with using regular coffee, once in a while, I just run a cycle of plain water through to 'flush' out that needle area and keep it clean. Enjoy!!
p.s. I saw a unit on the street one time that somebody left out as trash!

I just use plain tap water in mine, and here in Louisville, we have hard water. Also, despite having them for a while ,I have only descale each one twice.
Toby we're neighbors---isn't it wonderful to have good water?

I called their hot line for help, trying to get it started. When it didn't happen, the CSR offered to replace it.
I told him I had bought it from the Q, it was 13 months old and I hadn't saved the box.
He had me tell him the serial number, then said no problem. They sent me a new one, no charges at all, not even shipping. It came in 3 days. I had to send them the removable part the Kcup goes in...they sent me a pre-paid envelope for that too.
They stand behind their products!
I had the same experience but mine was at least 2 years old. Sent me a brand new one for free. I did have to provide the envelope but postage was paid to return the part they asked for. I was thoroughly impressed.

I do drink cappuccino and chai latte a lot. I always run a cycle of plain water afterwards though.

That's a good habit to get into. When I had trouble early-on with my unit, I could not believe all of the other complaints out there about them. Keurig is great to deal with directly, but that's also good to know about BB&B's return policy.
