Keurig Coffee Maker

I am thinking of getting my husband a Keurig coffee maker for Father's Day (the platinum version).

Right now they have it at Dillards and Target for $179 plus a $35 gift card to each store.

Do those of you who have the Keurig like it? Are the K-cups expensive? Where is the cheapest place to purchase the K-cups? They have a refillable coffee filter thing which allows you to use your own coffee. Does that work well?

What if you want for example 10 oz cup of coffee? Is 1 K-cup enough? Or would it be watered down and weak? This particular model offers 6,8,10 and 12 oz cups of coffee.
