I thought that his age is really catching up with him. how old is he now? he looks 75.

just checked and he is 75. looks every year of it. see all that plastic surgery in the end didn't really help much.

It's KR alright. His voice sounds fine to me but he has those ""little eyes"" now like Wayne Newton from too many eye lifts.

Our family met Kenny many years ago. He was much shorter than I thought he was. He wears boots with big heels to make him taller.

We waited for hours to meet him after a show. He finally came out after all of his guys said he'd left. I didn't believe them and I was right. He was nice enough to give autographs and take pics with us.

When he came out of the back door he said ""how are you folks tonight?"" and I just about croaked. LOL

DH didn't mind that I was googly after him.

At that time he hadn't had all the face lifts etc. and looked HOT.

I forgot to say that I think it is a cute commercial. I saw it for the 2nd time this morning.

You are so right - the eyes look just like Wayne Newton's. Fortunately overall Kenny does not look as bad as Wayne. Poor Wayne really does not even look very normal at all anymore. He has that awful plastic-y look to his whole face.

I wonder what 'look' they were both trying for with the surgery? How does making the eyes smaller make them look younger or better?

Shoptilyadropagain, I thought the same thing, " Who is butchering that Kenny Rogers" song?" Anyway, I was glad to see he looked somewhat better after that terrible plastic surgery.

I don't think they want small eyes. It is a result of pulling the skin tighter.

I read once that Kenny said that the plastic surgery took all the expression out of his eyes. I had my picture taken with him once about 35 years ago. I won tickets to see him and meet him backstage.

He was very nice to my family and me.
