Keeping an Eye on Albuquerque

I just feel like somebody is watching us.  This is an International Balloon Fiesta participant.

@Kachina624     We had a wonderful time visiting your city and the balloon festival.  Good food, wonderful sights and decent weather.   On our way to the airport yesterday morning some were flying right across the highway above us.

@CoffeeNut.  We're a great city to visit except in the middle of summer when it's hot.  Lots to see and do and the weather is usually bright and sunny.

Come again and see some of the countryside with its Indian pueblos, archeological ruins and mountains.

@Kachina624

I wish I would have embraced ABQ more when I lived there.  I was young, newly married and all I wanted to do was move back to Texas to be closer to my mama and daddy.  I only lived there ~1.5 years before my (then) husband got a promotion and we were transferred to Dallas.  When my husband (not the one I was married to back then) and I visited a few years back, we were literally flying through, but boy, oh, boy did we find a great Mexican restaurant.  I keep telling my husband we need to go back long enough to really enjoy our stay & go to Santa Fe & Taos.  To me, ABQ has the perfect weather.  Yes, it does get hot in summer but it gets hot everywhere in summer.
