Multiple wedding bells shall be ringing in Kathie Lee Gifford's family.
The former "Today" show host posted on Sunday that her 26-year-old daughter, Cassidy, is now engaged.
Giffford shared a photo of Cassidy and her fiancé Ben Wierda on her official Instagram account.
"So thrilled to announce that my beautiful daughter, @cassidygiff, is engaged to a wonderful man, Ben @letsgetwierda," Gifford's caption read. "I am beyond the moon and stars. Thank you, LORD!"
Pictured with Cassidy and Ben are her brother, Cody Gifford, and his fiance, Erika Brown.
Erika shared a picture of Cassidy with her ring on Instagram on Sunday. She's been engaged to Cody since May.
In May, Cassidy celebrated her brother Cody's engagement to actress Erika Brown. "So excited for what God has in store for these two," Gifford wrote in a caption showing Brown and her brother embracing. "The most excited to welcome my already sister @missamerikabrown into the craziness."

so don't care what celebs or their families do or say!

Cassidy looks just like her dad. Happy for the young couples!

She is a lovely young woman.
I'm sure Kathie Lee is a proud mama. Who wouldn't be?
Much happiness to them (not that they need MY wishes), but I feel that about every young couple starting out.
I remember how excited and hopeful I was

It's inspiring to see the young people so enthralled with getting married. I suspose it's mother natures way to keep the world going round.
For me, maybe because I'm not a young person, but I just don't see the thrill. You learn in life nothing lasts and there is no "happily ever after".
Best of luck to Kathie's daughter & fiance.

Very nice, happy for both of them...hard to believe they're all grown up...

Yes, who could forget Cody and Cassidy. I must say Cody looks very much like his father. As for Cassidy's beau, yes, Wierda is an unfortunate name. But he's a good-looking guy, so that helps, I'm sure.

Don't say nothing lasts. I can't even look at our wedding photos because that whole event was so painful. Everyone but one friend of ours was angry, sulled up or saying this will never last. You could have cut the air with a knife in that church. I don't know what we were thinking to have a public wedding.
That was 45 years ago. We had no money, no hope, still in college, and barely scraped by but we loved one another and still do--more than when we were married so long ago.
We had hope and we loved one another and were willing to work as hard as we had to to be together. And by the grace of God it worked out beyond our expectations.
No matter what you think, everyone getting married deserves some love and happiness and good wishes and hope for their future.

I understand exactly what you are saying.
But, I'm happy that people still want to take a chance. I always make a silent wish they'll know nothing but happiness.
Having lived 69 years, I know better. But still...
Hope springs eternal!
