Re: Kate and William arrive in Boston

@Tinkrbl44Only Caroline is Catholic. Edwin is Jewish and did not convert to Catholicism. It was a Catholic marriage ceremony without a Mass and it was not an interfaith ceremony.

Re: Kate and William arrive in Boston

A few of the Boston Celtics players were asked it felt to play with the Royals, one said it was just another game and another asked was it Jesus, Mary or Joseph there because to him that is what royalty is.

Re: Kate and William arrive in Boston

Hated the Traffic, but l Like Will and Kate. Have to admire them for sheer stamina. A trans Alantic flight then meet and greet then A Basketball game before bed. Charity events for both the next day Not sure if they met the US president today, them hosting their own charity awards. I bet they will be glad to be home when they get there.

Interesting to note how Catherine dated the guest book. I thought the Brits did Date Then month then year. That Emerald necklace is stunning. Wonder if it was in her carry on or checked baggage? They've made a good job of their time here. I wish them well.

Re: Kate and William arrive in Boston

-Ever the gentleman, William put a reassuring hand on Kate's back as they made their way into the event

-

Kate, whose rented gown featured a daring split up the back, allowing her to show off her dazzling heels, held hands with her husband as they made their way inside the MGM Music Hall

-

-

The Princess of Wales put on a dazzling display in a vibrant green off-the-shoulder gown as she and Prince William arrived at the Earthshot Prize gala in Boston Friday night - the final event in their whirlwind three-day US tour

Earthshot Prize gala in Boston Friday night - the final event in their whirlwind three-day US tour

-Kate, 40, certainly pulled out all the stops for the evening - which has been described as William's 'Super Bowl moment' - taking a break from her normally-reserved sense of style in order to steal the spotlight in the eye-popping number

-The pair have been in the US since Wednesday, when they touched down at Boston Logan International Airport on a commercial flight

-

Crowds of well-wishers turned up to show their support for the royals, who have been swarmed by fans throughout their trip

-The couple took a minute to smile and wave at the crowds who had gathered in the cold in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the royals

-

As well as pulling out all the stops with her style, Kate also opted to model a glamorous makeup look that featured dark eyeliner, smoky eyeshadow and a sharp contour on her cheeks

-

Kate accessorized her vibrant green off-the-shoulder gown - which she no doubt wore in keeping with the eco-friendly theme of the evening - with a diamond-and-emerald choker necklace that used to belong to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana

-

The dazzling art deco choker - which is believed to be worth more than $15 million - was gifted to Diana (seen wearing it in 1993) by the Queen, who herself inherited it from her grandmother Queen Mary

@MorningLover, until your series of pictures, I hadn't noticed what she was wearing under the coat. That "flame" color (or burnt orange?) looks really super with the coat, and definitely cozy.

More of the dress underneath. I am so impressed the hemline of the dress and the coat are exactly the same. So the dress isn't longer than the coat. Well Done.

The couple arrived at Boston Harbor Defenses on Thursday afternoon, where they met up with Reverend Mariama White-Hammond, who gave a speech at the Earthshot launch in which she urged people to 'consider the legacy of colonialism'
