The Queen has asked for longer hemlines, more statement jewelry pieces, and for Kate to wear a tiara more often, according to Vanity Fair.
In order to achieve the look, the Queen has enlisted her own personal stylist to help Kate pack for the three and a half week trip. She is also going to loan Kate 'statement jewelry and gemstones from the Queen's personal collection.'"

Oh, no
I can see it now. Kate, dressed just like the Queen
ps Kate has contacted her own stylist at Alexander McQueen
I wonder if that means she can wear Alexander McQueen's famous skull scarf in pretty pink.
I don't think the Queen will approve.
LOVE Alexander McQueen!
His style hasn't been forgotten since his death, either.

I wondered how long it would take before the ""dowdification"" of Kate would begin.
Life as a royal is just beginning for her.

I shudder to think what they have in mind, but Kate looks beautiful the way she is and has great style.

Make her look more royal? What a joke. I think she's done a wonderful job for that family and her style has nothing wrong with it at all. I hope the Queen doesn't start picking her a part like she did Princess Diana. Perhaps Prince William will step in on behalf of his beautiful wife.

Since Kate and William will be assuming full time Royal duties, it's only natural that Kate would begin to incorporate some of the tiaras and gorgeous state jewels into her formal outfits, just like Diana did. I think Kate will nail it.

I think it's silly to automatically assume she's going to look dowdy.
Every high profile woman in the world has a stylist.
Because this is an official royal trip, I'm.sure there is some protocol that needs to be followed, especially for some of the dinners and evening events. Remember, Kate is not from this life, so I'm.sure she'll appreciate the assistance.
The article did say that the Queen was lending her some royal jewelry for the trip. I'll bet she'll look stunning.
If you've ever seen pictures of Diana on the Australia trip, she was gorgeous. I think it will be the same for Kate.
